Would it be possible to put body of an antique car to a modern car?

I am not even remotely close to having enough money to pursue such an expensive endeavour, but I absolutely love the body styles of antique cars, and I was wondering if it would be possible to either fit an actual body of one on a newer car or to fabricate one to custom fit a newer car.
