How are these New, Used, Old, Vintage, Collector Car trader values determined, anyway?
There are many resources in the Internet that would help you on determining New, Used, Old, Vintage, Collector Car trader values but some would fail to include three important factors in assessing your rate. In fact, most dealers/sellers tend to overlook these factors:
1. Added features in the car are a minus. The reason is simple: original parts cost way more than the ‘attached’ parts. Original parts are hard to find and harder to maintain that’s why it is priced higher.
2. Oddity, rarity is priced higher. These are the limited editions that were released on certain car types. It is definitely priced higher when all original parts are still intact.
3. On the other hand, original upgrades are a plus. There are car series that were upgraded to certain levels such as turbo chargers and superchargers (given of course that all parts are original) these are all valued higher. Original modifications are also included in this category.
Some sellers would also price their classic cars according to its personal significance. As there are also buyers who would pay more for a car that been a long time obsession.
So when you are assessing New, Used, Old, Vintage, Collector Car trader values, consider all three factors, plus compare it with the market value, then you are good to go.
