I have a 5 year old Jazz auto. Water seeps into the rear left hand foot well and I cannot find any cause. ?

Any help out there. My local main dealer says he'll have to have the car in and strip it at a cost of many hundreds. Anyone else had this problem?
The water collects under the back seat. The front footwells are dry.
